📖 How to Use This App
Step-by-step guide to finding and verifying B2B decision-maker emails.
This app helps you find email addresses of decision-makers (CEOs, Sales Managers, Marketing Managers, Trade Show Coordinators, etc.) at US companies. It uses Apollo.io to find contacts and ZeroBounce to verify each email is real and deliverable — so you only send to good addresses.
Get Your API Keys
You need two API keys to use this app — one from Apollo.io and one from ZeroBounce.
- Apollo.io (finds contacts) → Go to app.apollo.io → Settings → Integrations → API Keys → Copy key
- ZeroBounce (verifies emails) → Go to zerobounce.net → Sign up free → Dashboard → API → Copy key
Prepare Your Company List
Create an Excel file with your target companies. Click Download Template on the Find Emails page to get a ready-made file.
- Company Name column — required (e.g. "Acme Corp")
- Website column — optional but improves accuracy (e.g. "acme.com")
Paste Your API Keys
On the Find Emails page, paste your Apollo key and ZeroBounce key into the key fields. You will see a green "✔ Key entered" message appear — that means it is saved.
Upload Your File
Click the upload area and select your Excel or CSV file. The app will read your company list and show how many companies it found.
Press "Find Emails" and Wait
Click the ▶ Find Emails button. The app will:
- Search Apollo.io for each company's decision-makers
- Find their email addresses automatically
- Verify each email with ZeroBounce
- Show results live in the table below
Read the Results
Each contact shows a colored status badge:
- Valid — email is real and deliverable. Safe to send.
- Catch-all — domain accepts all emails, cannot fully verify. Use with caution.
- Invalid — email does not exist or will bounce. Do not send.
- Unknown — could not verify. Use with caution.
Export Your Results
Click 💾 Export to Excel to download a clean spreadsheet with all your verified contacts. You can then import this into any email marketing tool (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.).
You can also go to the Results page to filter by status before exporting.

When emailing US companies, you must comply with the CAN-SPAM Act: always include your company name and address, a clear subject line, and an unsubscribe link in every email. Sending to verified contacts from Apollo's professional database is legitimate B2B outreach.
